The Grand

This 550 sqft home was thoughtfully designed to maximise both functionality and visual flow within a compact footprint. Every built-in element was carefully planned to ensure the space feels open, cohesive, and purposeful rather than crowded.

A key highlight of the project is the altar area, which is seamlessly integrated with the kitchen cabinetry. Instead of treating it as a separate feature, we designed it as a continuous composition, allowing the altar to feel naturally connected to the main living space while still maintaining its own sense of presence and respect. This approach not only fulfils the client’s requirements but also enhances the overall spatial harmony.

The cabinetry throughout the home is finished in a combination of dark beige and soft beige tones. This layered neutral palette adds warmth and depth, preventing the space from feeling flat while keeping the overall look calm and refined. Clean lines and handleless profiles further reinforce the minimalist direction, allowing the colours and proportions to take centre stage.

Despite the limited floor area, the design achieves a balanced blend of practicality and aesthetics — proving that even a small home can feel well-organised, elegant, and complete when every detail is intentionally considered.
